Sorry for the lack of posts lately, this is what the holidays do to any already lazy artist. I did some sketches over the holiday and should have them up on the blog pretty soon. I'll have some new character pics soon as well. While your waiting though I would suggest checking out the band Sigur Ros. There music videos are amazing so hop on to youtube and check them out.

A Game of Thrones

Check out this new image from the upcoming HBO series based on George R.R. Martin's book A Game of Thrones. As you can tell this is a very different type of fantasy. Much,MUCH, grittier than your, Drizzt, Chronicles of Narnia, Eragon, or even Lord of The Rings type of fare. Oh and if you haven't read these books you really should. The series is called A Song of Ice and Fire.

Just an idea

this is the cover concept for an underground independent magazine I would like to get started some day. Maybe it will happen maybe it won't but I can dream.

Another little bit of artwork

Just a random character I drew one day. He'll probably wind up in one of my stories eventually.

More artwork

I actually drew this after listening to Johnny Cash's The Man Comes Around.

Just a quick update

I wanted to take a quick break from posting about the evil guys and decided to tell you that I should have some new artwork up very soon. I've been a little dry for ideas so far. I should have some more character pics up soon. Comic stuff is going a little slower than planned so I don't know when the next one will be up. Sorry guys.

Top Villains of all time...#17

This is an odd one but I still put her on this list simply because she's a unique villain...Mal (inception). Rather than having a physical presence like most villains, she's simply a projection, a concept, an idea. But that makes her even more dangerous because she knows Cobbs mind and knows how he works. Not only that but she takes on a life of her own, she is an envious idea one who has thoughts and emotions, an over riding concept, an obsession.

Top Villains of all time...#18

And number 18 is...Nemesis...DUDE!!! his name is fraking NEMESIS!!! that should be enough for you people, but I know it isn't. Okay so lets go through his list of "bad stuff" He was a drug lord by his mid teens, he's taken down every major police force on the planet, and he kills children. That should be enough...Oh and he kidnapped the president of the united states.

Top Villains of all time...#19

Time for another villain. This time...Ozymandias (Watchmen). A man who forces his ideals upon a world and kills millions in the process...all for the sake of peace. Seems a bit hypocritical to me. What gives any man the right to assume a moral superiority above the general population, regardless of your intentions. And that is the true evil of Ozymandias' plan, is the fact that yes he creates a peace, but a false one born of lies and death. A peace born of lies is a greater sin than a war born of truth.

Top 20 Villains of all time...# 20

Over the next few weeks I will be doing a countdown of the top 20 all around best villains of all time this includes video games and TV as well. So shall we get started. Coming in at number 20 we have...The G-Man (half-life series). No name. No past. No Conscience. We know nothing about the G-Man but he seems to know everything about you. Constantly forcing you in to life threatening situations, he appears to have an agenda and it involves you facing Combine, Stalkers, and face humping aliens. What really makes the G-Man such a memorable villain is the fact that we know nothing and he seems to know everything. Not only that, but when he drops you in a particular time or place you are obligated to do what he wishes you to do, no ifs, ands, or buts. Who is the G-Man?
