Graphic Novel & Youtube series
I'm finally making some progress on my graphic novel. I'm nearly finished with writing the first issue in the series. After that I'll get started on doing artwork and will hopefully be able to post it. I'm hoping to eventually pitch it to a company and get it published. Wouldn't that be exciting. Me, my dad and a the guys were setting up the website with are also going to try our hand at a youtube series. So hopefully in the coming weeks I'll have some updates for those of you keeping up with this blog.

Okay finally a new post
I just wanted to talk about what it has been like to watch videogames progress so quickly. I remember very distinctly the first ever videogame I played...Rampage. I remember the countless hours of fun taking my giant pixelated gorilla, and climbing, smashing, eating, and stomping my way to victory. But at that point I wasn't really into games yet, I just thought they were another toy nothing more. My interest grew when my dad bought the sega genesis and I was introduced to...Sonic the Hedgehog, I was making my way into the gaming world slowly but surely. I remember my mom getting so angry at me for playing that game for hours on end, but man did I get good. I remember having in excess of twenty lives by the time I got to the final level and wasting them all because I had no idea how to defeat Dr. Robotnik and his death egg. But I officially stepped into the video gaming fray with two particular games. I'll start with the less obvious one...Myst. I have crystal clear memories of being so afraid to play that game, but so enthralled by it because of that simple fact. It scared me. No game had ever been able to make me feel any sort of emotional reaction. Combine that with brain bending puzzles, incredible graphics, and an engrossing atmosphere...I was hooked. But then my true love of videogames began. It was the first JRPG I had ever played, and I was completely engrossed by the story...I lost so many hours of my life to Final Fantasy 7. The story, the characters, the graphics...I was officially a gamer. Since then I've watched videogames go from 2-d pixelated characters to some of the most realistic graphics ever seen. This all in just fifteen measly years, and it often makes me wonder how quickly will we move from here. Motion controls, Online functionality. Where's it going?
